I first started playing tennis at the age of 5 and fell in love with it. My grandfather told me it was as if I was born with a racquet in my hand.
I love the tradition of tennis and the opportunity to be part of the tradition and modernize the game through elegance and creativity is my objective on the court.
Like many, I am chasing the challenge to be #1 in the world and to win as many GS as I can. I would like the privilege of inspiring many future players, fans and coaches as I chase my objectives on the women's tour.
If I can convince 1 person to chase their dreams with ambition and obsession with humility, I will be very happy. That is how I tackle every day. Tennis is my oxygen, the court is my sanctuary.
